Dog urinating It’s That Moment Every Pet Owner Dreads… Your Faithful Friend Has Had An “Accident” While You Were Out – And Now You Can’t Find The Smelly, Dried Urine Stain!

It’s easy enough to clean up a pet stain when you catch your cat, dog, or other furry companion in the act, but when pet stains dry they can be nearly impossible to detect. Cleaning them out of your carpet or upholstery becomes a guessing game – and all the while, you have to live with the embarrassment of knowing that your visitors are wrinkling their noses when they walk in your front door.

Not only that, but the longer the urine stain remains in the carpet, the harder it’s going to be to eventually remove. If the situation goes on long enough, replacing furniture or completely removing the offending flooring may seem like the only solution. But there IS a better way…

The “Pet Detective” UV Light Is The Perfect Solution For Finding Smelly, Invisible Pet Stains And Eliminating Them Quickly And Easily!

Using the flashlight is simple – all you have to do is wait until it’s dark outside, switch off your lights, and shine the UV light slowly throughout your home. As you hit the areas with the stains, they’ll glow under the light, making them simple to identify and clean.

Not only will urine stains glow under the light – but you can also use it to find other undesirable smudges in your home, including mold and bacterial growth! It works on ALL household surfaces, from tile to wood to carpet – even on your bedding, furniture, and clothes.

Many Desperate Pet Owners Take A “Scorched Earth” Approach With Steam Cleaners And Ammonia Products, But These Only Make The Problem Worse

Steam cleaning may seem like the idea solution for removing stains from carpet – after all, you can quickly and easily clean an entire room, eliminating the need to hunt for old, dry stains. But in many cases, this approach actually backfires!

You see, the heat from the cleaner actually sets the stain further into the carpet by bonding the proteins in urine to the fibers of the carpet. By using this approach, you’ll only ensure the scent is that much harder to remove.

Ammonia-based cleaners are another misguided “cure” for pet odors. The problem is, ammonia is one of the main components of urine – and cats and dogs can smell it! Using these cleaners simply encourages animals to pee in the same spot by reinforcing it as a place to go to the bathroom. That’s why we have our own special recipe for eradicating those tough pet stains.

RECIPE: Urine Smell and Stain Remover from Carpet

Ingredients:

  • Baking Soda
  • White Vinegar
  • Liquid Dishwashing Detergent
  • 3% Hydrogen Peroxide

If the spot is still wet, try to absorb with paper towels. Repeat several times.

Next, mix 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Douse the carpet fibers below, then dry the area using paper towels. The vinegar will neutralize the ammonia in the urine.

When cleaning dry urine stains, repeat the above steps but add detergent to the mixture of vinegar and water. After the area has dried, sprinkle baking soda over the area. Mix half a cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide with a teaspoon of detergent. DO NOT USE CAUSTIC DISHWASHING DETERGENT

Using rubber gloves, pour the mixture over the baking soda. Work into the carpet with your gloves first, then with a scrubbing brush.

Allow to dry, then simply vacuum the powder up!

Caution:
Use only 3% hydrogen peroxide. Test carpet for color fastness in a small hidden area before use.
